Living Mine Model
Remote access to real-time GPS data from all machinery can be an invaluable tool. The Living Mine system is an end-to-end intranet based solution, taking data from mining equipment in operation and transferring this data to a site server over available communications channels (intended to be a wireless mesh network).
Benefits
- Asset Tracking in real-time. The system shows an icon for every type of equipment on the screen as well as GIS layer information so that users may observe real- time mining. By selecting an equipment icon, productivity reporting is immediately available in summary form as well as diagnostic health of the APS technology on-board.
- Display of assets key performance reports, including integration of the Dozer Productivity Management (DPMS) Reports. Excavator performance reporting is also able to be displayed on line and in real-time.
- Replay of mining equipment actions over a period of time. We can view and analyse an entire shift in replay to determine efficiency and mining approach of the operator for later coaching purposes.
- Network coverage maps of the wireless technology the equipment is connecting to, including the ability of remote connection to the cabin computer to assist the operator or the network administrator manage the APS technology without requiring physical attendance at the machine.
- Diagnostic health of system’s components is automatically monitored and a simple display of all the technology components are available to the maintenance support team located anywhere in the world. The maintenance support screen is linked to the APS issues management system.
The Site server stores data in a SQL database.
