ExactaTrak
ExactaTrak is a unique machine guidance system designed by operators for operators. Instead of showing traditional engineering plan and cross section views, ExactaTrak displays a 3D representation of the job to the operator in real time (pictured below).
Benefits
ExactaTrak is a high precision machine guidance system for dozers which uses GPS technology to precisely locate the machine relative to design and assist the operator to get maximum efficiency.
Rather than a single cut or fill number, the software graphically shows the operator the difference between current position and design – all along the blade. Dual GPS receivers make this system highly accurate, and a further refinement allows accurate ripping positions. ExactaTrak is intended for both mining and civil applications.
Software overview
ExactaTrak offers a 3D representation of the design excavation using wire frames and shadowing. The dozer blade is shown correctly positioned relative to design. A red shadow shows distance from design across the whole blade.
Text in the bottom corners of the screen shows the distance of the blade corners from design. The screen can be zoomed in and out, or the design can be viewed from different vantage points.
