Software
Software is arguably the keystone to effective use of GPS guidance. A well designed interface provides operators with feedback that simplifies an otherwise complex operation. Accordingly, APS is involved heavily in the development of GPS guidance products and has it's own well established software division.
- Range
- APS supplies a continuously expanding range of software products ranging from individual machine control and networking through to productivity analysis and office applications. By using a combination it's own software and software supplied by others APS is able to offer the best solution for each particular customer.
- Customisation
- APS can prepare custom hardware and software for specialist machines. For example, in 2006 we completed installation on a bucket wheel excavator at TRUEnergy’s Yallourn Mine. The system precisely finds the location of the lowest bucket teeth, enabling the operator to dig level benches to design.
