Dynotilt Inclinometer
APS's Dynotilt is a three axis tilt sensor which measures pitch & roll simultaneously, measures over a full 360°and is accurate to 0.3°. It has been designed to withstand the harsh environments for dozers, excavators and other earthmoving equipment.
Performance
The APS tilt sensor measures pitch and roll, with an accuracy of ±0.1 degree of arc over a limited range. The sensor can be mounted in a variety of positions and configured to measure roll and pitch via its three orthogonal tilt sensors.
Two open communication interfaces are available for the sensor – CANopen and Modbus RTU. The CANopen interface is compliant with CAN-CIA and can be used with an onboard CAN controller or optionally, APS can supply a CAN-USB converter. The RS485 version of the sensor complies with Modbus-IDA.
