Astrum Duo - Control Box
Astrum Duo from APS combines twin RTK GPS receiver and a data radio into one neat package. It can determine position within one to two centimetres and heading to 0.01 degrees (depending on antenna separation).

The Astrum Duo can receive signals from the NAVSTAR satellites only, or from combined NAVSTAR,GLONASS and GALILEO when operational. The radio is designed to receive or transmit GPS correction signals and also transfer data. The UHF or spread spectrum design allows trouble free operation.
The package is ruggedly designed to stand up to the rough handling and difficult conditions expected on mining and earthmoving equipment. The Astrum Duo is ideal for machine guidance on equipment such as excavators or drills which require position and heading.
